Shadding proved to be the killer method as William, Rona, Guy and Edward triumphed on Colin Barnes' boat, HollyJo. Two hours south of Castletownsend, while fishing over a wartime hulk, a plethora of lovely cod were landed by all. 'Twas a grand day out. My face is as red as a beetroot but it was worth it! The biggest fish was about 19lb and the average size around 12lb.
