Having been patiently ground-baiting for a couple of hours, it was suddenly all action as the mullet went wild! William was fishing a piece of sunk bread with shot on the line, while Edward targeted surface feeding fish with a floating piece of bread. The action started when William and Edward simultaneously struck into fish. William landed a lovely 4lb fish, but Edward lost his when the hook broke. Shortly afterwards, having tied on a far stronger hook, Edward hooked and, after a great fight, landed a 5lb fish. Very exciting fishing.
